Just wanted to wish my wife-e-poo a Happy 10 year Anniversary. Its been 10 years and she hasn’t killed me in my sleep yet. :P
Month: August 2007
August 16th, Summerton High School Ram
This is the stone mascot for Summerton High School. There only a few problems with this, 1) That Ram isn’t stone, or stoned, its styrofoam, and 2) That is Murray High School. Confused? Good, the truth of the matter is, this is a large prop for a movie, they transformed our Murray high into a new school complete with statue and new colors.
August 15th, Meditation Chapel
August 14th, Stitch as Elvis Statue
August 13th, Akuma
Akuma from the Street Fighter Video Game series.
August 12th, Optimus Prime (Mini Human Version)
Still not in a very verbal mood. This is a present my son got for his Birthday.
August 11th, Little Green Man
August 10th, Pick with a Missing Tooth
Alas the poor Pick, great for hair but not so great for getting stepped on. Ah well I like the natural look anyway.
August 9th, Folded Money
Money, how such a foul smelling diseased attracting item can be so popular. Me I think we should switch to gold. or perhaps rubies, course that would mean I would have to work about six years for one stone but Mmmmmm shiny.
August 8th, Beef Jerky
This is a nice macro of Beef Jerky. Its even peppered, Mmmmmm jerky.
August 7th, Cigar Store Indian
Nothing quite says early American folk art quite like a Cigar Store Indian. This fine if non authentic specimen was owned by my grandmother, along with several other interesting things, like a 3/4 lifesized ceramic Knight with spear, and black veltet indian paintings. Mmmm bad art
August 6th, Battle Armor He-Man
Skeletor got some lovin so why shouldn’t He-Man. Look at those arms, the stern expression of a guy who will open a can of whoop tuckie on some unsuspecting doer of evil.
August 5th, Wookie
Its a bird, its a plane, its BIGFOOT!!! Nope its just a Wookie.
August 4th, Abstract Bracelet
This is the result of A. My sons foot, and B. My daughters bracelet. Seperately they arent very interesting except maybe as clown art, but once they came together they got as interesting as a Chocolate dipped Garter Snake….. Mmmmm Sweet AND bitey.
August 3rd, John Deere Speedometer
Today we went to Wheeler Farm again, as usual I was looking for interesting things to photograph. This time an old broken speedometer just screamed out to me.
