My Photography!
May I present Jayden, who turned two years old today. His proud parents asked me to take his birthday photos for them, he was a very willing model and as you can see just cute as a button.
This photograph should show that the lens is a formidable portrait lens. This was taken with the camera metered off of the background, and then a flash was used at -1EV to balance the exposure on the subject, and make the image look more natural.
Was a hard night coming up with ideas, so once again lets see what interesting patterns and colors we can find. Behold the mighty scrubber, able to remove the hardest of egg, and yet still be colorful and stylish. 🙂
Ok my friends for today you get a two fer. As the family and I were wandering around today we found near a field someones quaint way of keeping track of their work gloves.
The two images are the same file, however one was processed normally in color, while the other image has been changed into black and white, and then a sepia tint was added to increase the old look of the photograph, some grain was added to simulate film and viola.
My question is, which is better and why? :P
Is there anything more colorful than kid’s cereal? Mmmmm offbrand fruit loops. 😛
This is a lovely Fender Automatic Guitar Tuner AG-6, purchased for my lovely wife to tune her pink guitar which has been the subject of an earlier photograph. Mmmm it sparkles. 😛
Caught this baby right before I decided to grill it up, slap some kechup and some cheese on it, and told it to “Get in my Belly” Mmmm meaty goodness.
Well to quote an TV show, ”If the women can’t find you handsome, at least they can find you handy!” A gold star to whoever knows that one. :P
Twas the day after Easter, and candy abounds, cavities and toothaches are soon to be found. Suckers galore around our abode, it’s almost as good as pie a la mode!!!
Well my friends its Easter, and you know what that means??? Yes we once again are getting all eggducated with eggs, and here is no exception. 🙂 So Hippitus Hoppitus, Enjoy!
This is a closeup of my very first tripod. I think it would probably shatter under the weight of my current gear, but it did an “ok” job when all I was using was a Minolta with a 50mm 1.4 lens.

Ah Finally spring is here, and there is something a bit more interesting in my yard to photograph than a few brave Dandilions. This beautiful specimen was nothing but a green bud yesterday, but with the heat and the sun, this is what we have today.
And tomorrow it may be gone, nothing but a flaming red memory…. and a photograph.
This is the cap off of my 70-200 2.8, which is a great lens, however I advise you do some arm building before you carry this sucker about. 😛 Its large, white, and oh so sexy….Mmmmm sexy lens.
