My Photography!
I have found myself facsinated lately by the artistic shapes that you can find in fabrics. This example is of a microfiber cleaning cloth, that also happens to be touted as a “gray” card for setting exposure, and white balance. I just think its simple and beautiful.
Happy St. Paddy’s day. Have a cookie on me. :P Well not on me cause that would be messy, but at least you can enjoy with your eyes this visual treat.
Twas the night before St. Patricks day, and what is more appropriate then to take a picture of my little green balls.
We have to look at the world around us more. It seems that the more busy and hectic our lives become, we no longer take the time to see simple things, and the beauty in that simplicity. Take this twig for example, how many of them have you passed by today without taking a second glance? Yet if you just slow down a bit, you can see all sorts of incredible things. I know I have.
Well our new Service Dog Maddie, got herself shorn today, she now officially is a Giant Schnauzer instead of a black Sheep Dog.
As I was sitting here, I noticed that there was light coming through the blinds of my window and spilling onto the front of one of my softboxes. I though that the simple abstract view, and the shadow on the wrinkles made for a nice image.
Is beauty truly in the eye of the beholder? We all have varied tastes and different points of view. Some of us prefer certain foods, colors, smells, people. I find it amazing that we have been able to continue the species at all with just how different we really are.
To some people staring into a box of packing peanuts is probably not the most interesting thing, however to me I saw a very simple beauty, what do you think?

This is my wifes pink guitar. Its shiny and pink, and well its a guitar, supposedly if you play it, it makes music. 😉

A fire hydrant which is a very nice shade of red and orange… The Dodge Caliber also happens to be my baby 😛
Ok now this one is a bit different I know. This is a photograph that was taken of a Beanie Baby ferret, however once it got into the computer and into Photoshop things went a bit different. 🙂 What I did was convert a photograph into what appears to be an oil painting, its actually quite a simple technique but it can make your work go POP.
This one is a very simple photograph. Its nothing more complex than water drops on a CD, and natural light. Its still very dramatic in my opinion. Enjoy
