My Photography!

Mmmmmm Lambie. 😛

Some of the wasabi crackers I got for Valentines day. Tasty, crunchy, and great for clearing out the sinuses. Good stuff 😛

They say eyes are the window to the soul…. Enough said

Happy Valentines Day, to all you lovers out there. 😛 This was a pure natural light portrait of my son Chance, in his happy red shirt. If nothing else this photograph should show the power of this lens as a portrait lens. Plus I think he looks damn cute 😀

Well when your son wants you to take a photograph of his favorite toy of the day, who is going to refuse. 😛

This is the view outside of our front window…. Pretty isn’t it?

Its a closeup of my 18 foot long scarf 😛 Anyone guess why I have one that long?

Next to my Camera and lenses this would probably be the most valuable tool I have. Its not glamourous, and its probably not the most elegant thing in the world, but if you want to nail exposure its a must! An interesting side note, this photograph was taken with no lighting other than a tungsten ceiling light. The illumination came from the display itself, and the rest was a 30 second exposure with the camera mounted on a sturdy tripod. Funny thing is I used the camera to set the exposure NOT the lightmeter. 😛

A replica of Bowen’s sword from Dragonheart… Nice and pointy.

If you are a photographer you have run into this little baby at least once. Expensive, not the most common in the world, yet required for so many things photography. 😛

Since I seem to like eggs, here is another one! This time its a purple marble egg paperweight that has been sitting on my desk for some time.

Yes its true, I have my eye on you! :P

I made the mistake of burning a poor innocent wooden spoon on the stove. This is the abstract result.

Ok just so you know, shooting wildlife, even captive ones is a bit tricky with a 60mm fixed focal length lens, but its not impossible!! This little guy was so interested in the bread we had, I’m willing to bet he would pose for hours.

Yes it may look like a little green vase, but in all reality its an Ashtray!!! I got it free as a promotion, it is supposed to be Arabian although I doubt any Arabian people would be using a little green vase. 😛
